Cerejas à Porta! / Cherries at your door!

Depois de alguns testes entre família e amigos (pobres coitados…) a Quinta da Porta começa amanhã a distribuir as nossas “cerejas à porta”, em Lisboa. Esta fotografia é uma pálida imagem (embora real, tirada há algumas horas) das cerejas que iremos entregar.

After some testing with family and friends (poor fellows …) tomorrow Quinta da Porta starts distributing our “cherries at your door”, in Lisbon. This picture is but a pale image (though real, taken just a few hours ago) of the cherries that we will deliver.

Chegou ao fim mais uma semana intensa de colheita, selecção e embalamento para que, todos os dias, cheguem até si as melhores cerejas. Fresquíssimas!

Another week of intense harvesting, sorting and packaging has come to an end, so that every day, you get the best cherries. Super fresh!

Pêssegos à espreita / Peaches lurking

E enquanto andamos ocupadíssimos com a colheita das cerejas, os pequenos pêssegos lá vão crescendo, fortes e saudáveis. E já se notam nas árvores, lembrando-nos que daqui por um mês vão ser eles os reis da festa.

And as we go hands full with the harvest of cherries, the small peaches keep growing, healthy and strong. And here they are, reminding us that within a month the spotlight will be theirs.
